2. VISITING DAY FOR RESIDENT STUDENTS:

Every second Saturday is a holiday to enable parents/guardians who have good reasons to visit their wards in the hostel on those days. It is not compulsory to visit though. Only parents and one other person who is authorized will be allowed to visit for security reasons. The photographs and signatures of the parents and the third-person must be provided on the AUTHORIZED VISITOR’S VERIFICATION FILE.

Student’s parents and visitors are requested not to meet the hostellers directly, they are requested to meet the wardens first and meet the hostellers later after taking the warden’s permission.

3. SICK TREATMENT AND CARE:

Resident students who fall sick or have health complaints will be provided care and treatment to the extent of general practitioner consultation and advice that can be carried out by the school. Any expense incurred for consultation, medicines and other incidentals will be charged to the personal a/c of the resident student. However, in cases that require higher consultation, the school will notify the parents/guardians to take their ward for the purpose.

For all health complaint cases, no parent should abruptly come to school on the call made by their ward. To ascertain the merit of taking your ward for further consultation or treatment, first confer and aver with the Hostel Superintendent. Then, and only then, would the request for taking your ward out for medical treatment be considered. Eye checkup is a common request of students, but no leave during school will be entertained as there is sufficient time to take care of it during the three breaks.
Rules and Regulations for the hostel will be given in the prospectus at the time of admission.
